Prospect Privacy Notice
Effective 3rd November 2026
This notice is for people whose business contact details Breezee AI Limited holds without having collected them from the person. If you have heard from us by email, telephone or LinkedIn and did not give us your details yourself, this is how we got them and what we do with them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we do.
1. Who We Are
Breezee AI Limited (Company No. SC857320) is the data controller. Our registered office is 5 South Charlotte Street, Edinburgh EH2 4AN. Write to us about your data at privacy@breezee.ai.
2. Why You Are Hearing From Us
We make an AI assistant for business websites. We contact people at UK companies who we think might find it useful, to ask whether they would like to see it. That is the only reason we hold your details.
3. What We Hold
Your name, your job title, the company you work for, your work email address, a link to your LinkedIn profile, and the town or country you are based in. For some people we also hold a telephone number.
If you have posted publicly on LinkedIn in the last three months, we may have read those posts so that our message is about your work. We keep only posts about your work, for up to ninety days. A post that is not about your work is discarded as soon as it has been read; we keep a note of the post's address so that we do not read it again.
4. Where It Came From
We did not get your details from you. We found your company at Companies House and on its own website. We got your name, title, email address and LinkedIn link from business contact data providers (Apollo and Anymail Finder) and from your public LinkedIn profile. Telephone numbers come from your company's website or from a data provider (FullEnrich). Your public LinkedIn posts were read by a service we use for that (Apify).
5. Our Lawful Basis
Our legitimate interest in telling businesses about our product (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). We only contact people at companies and LLPs, at work addresses, a small number of times. You can tell us to stop at any time, and we will.
6. Who Else Sees It
The services we use to send email (Instantly), to write the first line of our message (Microsoft Azure, which is told your job title and what you posted but not your name), to check telephone numbers against the Telephone Preference Service (TPSCheck), and to store our data (Supabase, in London). Some of these providers are outside the United Kingdom. Where they are, we rely on the International Data Transfer Agreement issued by the Information Commissioner's Office, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, and you can ask us for a copy.
7. How Long
A year from when we first collected your details, unless you become a customer or ask us to delete them sooner. If you tell us not to contact you, we keep a scrambled version of your email address or telephone number so that we never add you again.
8. Your Rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to our contacting you. Reply "no" to any email, say "don't call" on any call, or write to privacy@breezee.ai. We will act within a month, usually much sooner. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time.
9. Changes to This Notice
The current version is always available at breezee.ai/prospect-privacy-notice, and every previous version is published and linked at the foot of that page.
